Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla trekking experience only allows you to spend one hour with the mountain gorillas yet the Gorilla Habituation experience gives you four hours to stay in the presence of mountain gorillas.

However, the Gorilla habituation experience allows you to watch these great species for a long period as you study their behaviors and get familiar with human beings around them.

Four Gorillas Lodge

Gorilla Trekking

This is the most done activity in the park which can be done in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest home to its landlords the mountain gorillas, birds among others. Gorilla trekking experience involves moving on foot in the thick forest and hiking in pursuit of the man’s immediate wild relatives. The activity can take about 30 to 7 hours and once a gorilla family you’re assigned to is allocated, the ranger guide will give you one hour to spend with gorillas a great moment for interacting, observing, and capturing these rare primates. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is one of the best world birding sites where can experience a vast diversity of bird species. While at the lodge, you can do birding in the Rushaga region home to several bird species including endemic Albertine rift ones. Mountain Gorilla trekking: Mainly done at the Volcanoes National Park mountain gorilla trekking is the most popular and sought out safari in Rwanda. Rwanda being home to a third of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population makes it an ideal place for a mountain gorilla trekking experience. On this activity you enter the forest, trek up the mountain in search of the mountain gorillas and when you find them, you spend an hour with them and then exit the forest.

Mountain gorilla trekking is done all through the and mountain gorilla permits cost $1500. However, the Rwandan government through the Rwanda Development Board has offered a discount on the permits till the 31^st of December 2023. The permits now cost $500 for all trekkers.

Chimpanzee trekking

Similar to mountain gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking involves trekking the forest in search of chimpanzees and when you find you spend an hour with them. Chimpanze trekking is done all year round in Rwanda at the Nyungwe Forest National Park.  Chimpanzee trekking is also much cheaper than mountain gorilla trekking costing $150 per trek for a trekker.

Wildlife viewing

Wildlife viewing mainly involves game viewing in the national parks and in Rwanda it’s done at the famous Akagera National Park, where you get to see a number of savannah animals including but not limited to lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, Impalas, warthogs and many more.

Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema

In addition to the Masai Mara National Park, Kenya has one of the world’s busiest birding paradises (Lake Nakuru National Park).

Day 1 Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

You will be picked up from Nairobi city by our driver in the morning and then we will head to the Lake Nakuru National Park, which takes about 3 hours to drive from Nairobi city to the park.

After we see the impressive view of the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley escarpment on our way to the park, we’ll make a stop for the pictures, and then head to our lodge for some relaxation and refreshments before lunch begins.

The afternoon will be spent on a 4 days Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara game drive along the shores of the lake where you will be able to see the Flamingos, a variety of birds and animals such as buffalos, giraffes and black and white rhinoceros among others. Dinner and overnight

Day 2 Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

We begin the 2nd day of our 4 day Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara tour by waking up early in the morning. Our breakfast will be served early in the morning, then we leave for Masai Mara National Reserve, which takes us approximately 5-6 hours to reach. In addition, you will enjoy the views of the rift valley, volcanic mountains, and others while driving until we reach the lodge around early afternoon.

Embark on a game drive in the afternoon where you will have lunch and then look out for the big game like Lions, Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Cheetahs, Zebras, Rhinos to name but a few.

Lake Nakuru National park

In the Masai Mara national reserve, the trip to see all five of the big five will never take more than a couple of hours. Dinner and overnight

Day 3 Masai Mara

Having had a hearty breakfast in the morning, we proceed to the wilderness for our full day activity of 4 Days Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara with parked lunch boxes. You will enjoy the Masai open plains by going to areas you did not get to the previous day to see everything we missed.

This will be the first day when we will have enough time to explore the entire park from one side to another and you will have the chance to see beyond your expectations in the land of Africa while we explore the entire park from one side to the other.

Your driver-guide will then give you a short briefing regarding your safari and take you for a short city tour around Nairobi, visiting the National Museum, the Markets, the Snake Park and many more places.

After visiting the city and taking a look around, you will have lunch before going on a drive to the Maasai Mara. As you travel along, you will experience a wonderful panorama unfolding behind you as well as an opportunity to stop at the Great Rift Valley in order to see the magnificent views of the escarpments and take excellent photos.

In addition to driving through Longonot, Suswa, and Narok, you will also stop at Narok for a fuel stop along the way and have the opportunity to experience the Maasai culture while engaging in daily activities of the Maasai people.

Aside from being a popular Kenya safari destination, Maasai Mara is also one of the few reserves in the world where you can spot all of the 5 members of the big five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinoceros) during your game drive.

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli national park 

• Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli:

After breakfast on the first morning of the safari, you will be picked up by your safari driver from your Nairobi hotel, and your safari driver who is also your representative will give you a brief description of the safari, and then you will set out on a drive of approximately three to four hours to the Amboseli national park, where you will spend the night.

Once you have checked into your lodge, you will have lunch, and in the afternoon you will go on a game drive, as you enter Amboseli national park, you will be greeted by the scenic backdrop of snowcapped mountain Kilimanjaro, which can be seen from the window of your safari vehicle.

There are also many animals that you will be able to see, including large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, Masai giraffes, impalas, spotted hyenas, and many kinds of birds, including peacocks, lesser flamingos, common redshanks, hartlaub’s bustards, Rufous chatterers, eagles and many more. A number of tourist attractions can be found within the park, including wildlife, Mudanda rocks, Yatta plateaus, Lugard falls, Aruba dams and many more.

Day 1: Welcome to Mombasa

Our representative (safari driver-guide) will meet you at Moi International Airport when you arrive in Mombasa and drive you to your hotel in Mombasa after a brief warm greeting. It has a ship themed theme and is famous for hosting some of the finest family entertainments in Africa, including culinary extravaganzas, music, comedy, and acrobatic shows. Voyager Beach Resort is a ship themed resort famous for hosting some of the best family entertainments and animation programmes in Africa.

After a day of relaxing at the resort and swimming, you will have dinner and stay overnight as you prepare for the next day’s activities. You will spend the evening lounging at the resort or swimming at the resort.

Day 2 – 3: Beach Life

Two days out of your four-day Mombasa Beach Holiday will be devoted to enjoying the beautiful beach life of Mombasa. Since you will be staying at the lodge which sits on a quiet stretch of crystal white sand beach that borders the Mombasa Marine Park, one of Kenya’s most beautiful marine parks, you will be able to experience the best of what the region has to offer.

You will spend your time relaxing on the stunning beach soaking up the island spirit and you have the option of participating in several optional activities such as sailing, snorkeling or diving, all of which offer you the chance to explore the coral reefs in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean as well as the coral reefs themselves.

There is also the option of taking a glass bottom boat ride in the turquoise waters, playing volley ball on the white sand beach or simply relaxing by the pool with a snack and a drink. Day 4: Farewell

After breakfast on this last day of a 4 day Mombasa classic beach holiday, you are going to leave the coast of Kenya and drive back to the town of Mombasa where you will be dropped off at the airport to catch a flight home or to another adventure somewhere else.

 In the narrow streets of Mombasa’s historic “Old Town,” we will see elaborate art designs, ancient buildings, and bustling bazaars selling antique curios and flavoursome spices which you will be able to purchase at reasonable prices as we drive through the narrow streets.

  Also, if you wish, you can also take a trip to the Mamba Village – Africa’s largest crocodile farm – where you can also ride a horse or a camel during your visit at the village.

Day 1; pick up and drive to Tsavo east national park

• pick up:

On the first day of your 3 days Tsavo East Wildlife Safari you will be met and welcomed by your guide at the airport and you will receive a short briefing about what to expect during your safari.

During your journey to the national park of Tsavo east, you will drive through Nairobi city on your way to the park.

• drive to Tsavo east:

When you arrive in Tsavo east national park, you will be able to experience the beauty of the park upon your arrival. On your way to your lodge where you will check in and take your lunch break, you will engage in an en-route game drive.

In the evening, you will be taken on an evening game drive in the national park to see some of the wildlife species as well as enjoy the sunset over the savannah plains as you are driven back to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night at Voi safari lodge.

Day 2; morning and afternoon game drives

During your morning game viewing experience, you will be served breakfast at your lodge in preparation for your morning game viewing experience in Tsavo East National Park, where you can enjoy the various wildlife species which are very active in the morning. These species are easily seen during game drives and include elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, impalas, and giraffes.

In the afternoon, after your morning game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch. Later in the evening, you will have another game drive to see more attractions in Tsavo east national park. You will then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as the night before.

Day 3; departure

During your stay in the Tsavo east national park, you will have the opportunity to wake up to a good breakfast before checking out. You will be able to see a wide variety of wildlife species grazing, hunting, and roaming around the savannah of the national park as you drive out of the park. In Nairobi, your guide will then drop you off at your preference at the end of your safari where you will be able to end your safari.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park

The driver of our Lake Naivasha & Lake Nakuru safari tour will pick you up at around 8: 30 a.m. on day 1 after you have eaten breakfast at your hotel or another location after your morning safari tour of Lake Naivasha & Lake Nakuru. It is your intention to drive from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha with a stop at the Great Rift Valley to see its amazing views and take pictures.

After checking into the lodge, you will have a boat safari for an hour along the lake where you will be able to view hippos, crocodiles, fish eagles and other types of wildlife.

After lunch, we went back to the lodge for a bit of rest and we had lunch.

Afterwards, take an evening leisure walk around the lake and enjoy the scenery of the landscape and watch millions of pink flamingos and other varieties of birds. Back to the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

During the second day of the 3 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari Tour, you will get up, have breakfast served with snacks, get ready to check out of the lodge and head to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will see a variety of animals.

Your arrival at Lake Nakuru will be early, and then you will have time to check in at the lodge. After that, you will be provided with a packed lunch and then you will proceed on a game drive where you will be able to see a variety of animals such as lions, rhinos, giraffes, pink flamingos, leopards, hippos, water bucks and numerous birds. You will enjoy lunch as you gaze upon the scenic beauty of Lake Nakuru National Park as you enjoy your lunch there.

During your visit to the park, you will be able to spend the entire day there. Later on in the late evening head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Nairobi /Jomo Kenyatta Airport

Depart to Nairobi town. After arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon, we will have lunch in the city. After the tour, you will be picked up and taken either to the hotel or to the airport so that you can catch your flight home from there.
