3 Days Murchison Falls Safari takes on a Uganda safari adventure to Uganda’s oldest and biggest national park – Murchison Falls national park, on this safari you will get a deeper insight and enjoy the beauty of the wilderness and ecosystem in this fine destination.
Though Murchison Falls national park is mainly known for Murchision Falls the most powerful falls in the world, it is more beyond the falls as it hosts more than 75 mammal species and over 400 bird species which you will enjoy watching. Among the animals you will see include lions, leopards, Uganda kob, giraffes, shoes bill among others.
3 Days Murchison Falls Safari is designed for visitors with a tight schedule but in the same time wish to explore Uganda’s wildlife.

DETAILED ITINERARY FOR THE 3 DAYS MURCHISON FALLS SAFARI
DAY 1: Kampala to Murchison Falls via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will be picked from the hotel in Kampala after breakfast and embark on a journey to Murchison Falls national park with a visit at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. At Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary found in Nakasongola, you will track rhinos on foot in their nature habitat and get a chance to came face to face with me, you will also be able to spot numerous species of birds such as crested crane.
Then proceed to the park with a stopover in Masindi for lunch, when you arrive in the park you will pass through the Budongo Forest where you will spot baboons and other monkeys along the road side as you head to the top of the falls.
While at the top of the falls, you will have a chance to view the magnificence of River Nile forcing itself into the gorge of 7 meters to form the legendary Murchision Falls flowing with a thunderous roar and forms a permanent rainbow. In the evening you will head to your lodge, check in for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Morning Game drive, Afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park for a game drive on which you enjoy sightings of animals such as Elephant, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, Uganda kob, hartebeest and waterbuck are commonly seen. You may also spot oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, bush duiker, warthog and bushpig. Large carnivores include lion, leopard and spotted hyena.
After lunch, you will go for a boat safari upstream on the calm Victoria Nile, along the way you will market at the large schools of hippos, crocodiles and elephants along the banks of the river and many birds such as Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. On the boat cruise, you will be rewarded with magnificent views of Murchison Falls from the bottom.
In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Morning in Pabidi Forest, Afternoon return to Kampala
After breakfast, you will proceed to Pabidi Forest for a forest walk, during the walk you will be able to spot many primate species such as l’ Hoest’s, red colobus, blue, red-tailed monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys and many birds.
Bid Murchison Falls national park farewell and embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch, when you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at your preferred location or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
