Detailed itinerary of 4 Days Kidepo Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Fly in to Kidepo and go for Afternoon game drive
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala or Entebbe International Airport upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Kajjansi airstrip for your flight to Kidepo Valley Airfield. The flight takes about 2 hours and on arrival, you will be picked up by our driver and be transferred to your lodge for lunch and relaxation, in the afternoon you will return to the park for an afternoon game drive.
During the game drive you will explore the Narus Valley which is a home to the largest population of wildlife in the park and you will be able to see a variety of wildlife including hippos, wild dogs, cape buffaloes, elephants, leopards among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive to Narus Valley and visit to the Karamojong community
You will enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and then transfer to the plains of Kidep Valley national park for a morning game drive in the Narus Valley, every game drive in Kidepo is different and you will be able to see many animals and birds that you were unable to see on the previous game drive.
You will also be amazed by the landscape and unspoiled wilderness and take amazing pictures, return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a visit to the Karamojong community, the Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists living in the unique houses called the Manyattas, during your visit you will be entertained by local dances and drama, interact with the locals through which you will learn more about their culture and traditions. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Game drive to Kidepo Valley and Hot Springs – visit to the Ik People
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive in the Kidepo Valley and a visit to the Hot Springs, during the drive you will enjoy watching animals and birds. The Hot springs are a perfect site to take pictures and watch the hot waters rising through the group.
In the afternoon you will go a visit to the IK people, one of the minority tribes in Uganda living on top of Morungole Mountain situated on the border between Uganda and South Sudan. You will different cultural practices of these amazing pople, be entertained by local dances and drama among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airfield
Wake up for breakfast, checkout of the lodge, bid Kidepo farewell and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip. You will then reconnect for your international flight back home.
