Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Serengeti National park.
You will be picked up at the airport and transported to the Serengeti, which is located around 335 kilometers (208 miles) from Arusha and stretches north to Kenya and west to Lake Victoria. Before heading on a late-afternoon game drive, you’ll get to the safari lodge or Safari Camp in time for lunch. Dinner and a night’s rest at the inn.
Day 2 : Fullday experience of Serengeti National park
On your three-day Serengeti safari, you will go on a full-day game drive after breakfast with a packed lunch. More than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles follow the migration of the wildebeest in search of new grazing grounds.
However, even when the wildebeest migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most exhilarating game-viewing in Africa: large herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and countless numbers of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, leopards, cheetahs, three African jackals, spotted hyena, and a host of more elusive small predator.
Additionally, there are more than 500 different bird species, from the enormous ostrich and peculiar secretary bird of the broad grassland to the black eagles that swoop gracefully above the Lobo Hills. Dinner and sleeping at the lodge.
Day 3: Transfer back to Arusha
After breakfast, you’ll have another game drive through the stunning Serengeti National Park in the hopes of spotting more wildlife, possibly even species you missed on the earlier full-day trip. Your three-day Serengeti safari in Tanzania comes to a close after returning to the resort for lunch and a later transfer back to Arusha.
