Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Virunga National park in Congo.
You will be picked up by our guide in Kigali at the airport or your hotel. He or she will give you a tour of Kigali after briefing you on the itinerary. The former presidential palace, the genocide monument, the central city market, and artisan stores are among the places you’ll see. This is a fantastic chance to purchase gifts or souvenirs for loved ones. The driver will begin the trip to the Congo border after the morning city tour. You will eat lunch at the border with Congo, stop through the immigration office, and then be given to the Virunga National Park Authorities for transportation to your park lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Virunga National park.
You will be picked from your accommodation by the Virunga park officials and t you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing, later you will embark on gorilla trekking activity, the activity will take you any time from 50 minutes to 4 hours , upon meeting the gorilla, you will interact with them for a maximum of one hour. Later head back to the lodge for lunch and a brief relaxation and later after you can head to visit the Senkekwe village orphanage to see the orphaned gorillas if you reside in Mikeno Lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali Rwanda.
